Harappa Education is an online higher education start-up based out of New Delhi. Singulareti with WDI Studios designed the content creation suite which compromises of a large Studio A with a cyclrorama backdrop, Studio B, a greenroom and waiting area.

The space to start of with was a large hall to be designed as smaller partitions. Instead of using fixed partitions for the main studios, 5-layer acoustic curtains were used as dividers. These curtains offer 15-20dB of sound reduction at mid-frequencies while also acting as membranic absorbers. The space had a lot of reverberation and lot less of real estate available for acoustics. Using the SPro Custom Broadband Panels working alongside the SPro Custom Targeted Low Frequency Panels finished in the brands, colors are strategically placed in the ceiling for a uniform coverage of acoustics. A specially designed 25mm carpet works like one while also working as an absorber.

The RT60 of the space is now less than 0.5 sec with a much better Speech Index. With the custom acoustics done, the noisefloor has dropped by a whooping 25db facilitating content creation like never before.
